Leo Club Meeting Minutes
7am Nov 14th, 2019
Reflections:
- Ramp Build (11/8):
Pictures and video shown
Mr. Langan helped add stairs and siding to boardwalk
Two projects; something we haven't tried before
Improve: shifts if we have many Leos again (morning/afternoon)
No opportunity to connect with family (unfortunate)
**Next Ramp Build in April
Future Projects:
- Book Drive Nov 12th (Sun 10am-2pm) at Wicomico Public Library
We will be transferring books from warehouse into library sections
Signup sheet sent
- Gingerbread House Contest Nov 22nd
Groups can sign up for $25, winner gets pizza party sponsored by Specific Gravity, proceeds given to Leader Dogs for the Blind
House completed by Dec 2nd
- Wreaths Across America in Arlington (Sat Dec 14th 4am-4pm)
We will lay wreaths on graves (350k at cemetary, 50k people at event)
Permission slips given out (see Mrs. Langan), 55 seats available
Will stop for late lunch at Cracker Barrel
**Transportation into cemetery logistics not finalized
- Santa's Angels Dec 17th and Dec 21st
We will package 165 boxes of food and fruit on Tues and distribute on Sat
Meet at Bethesda Church
